Located on the edge of Rockland’s downtown district, this 9,000 s.f. project combines two buildings into one that is home to Maine Boats, Homes and Harbors magazine, Sweets & Meats gourmet grocer and a variety of other commercial and residential tenants. Overlooking Rockland Harbor, this project has extended the retail and commercial vibrancy of the downtown area. Working closely with city officials, 216/218 Main Street has become a model of building rehabilitation, combining the thoughtful restoration and adaptive reuse of existing buildings while working within the city’s guidelines.
